Session 2 – ESB-ITA general assembly (Room S.02)

Note: In Italy, several PhD Programmes include Bioengineering among the characterizing research areas. However, this presence is organized in different formats and with different objectives. This session represents a unique opportunity to provide a state-of-the-art of the organization of the PhD in Bioengineering in Italy, also discussing the possible exploitation of the PhD position by concerned stakeholders, such as industries, hospitals and public health organizations.
The experience brought by young PhD’s will help to identify strengths and weaknesses of the current organization. Influencers from economical, societal, academic and research world will be asked to provide their opinions, ideas and proposal for shaping the ‘next’ PhD in Bioengineering through an open discussion.
